Great spot - we had a great time staying at City Hostel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. They even threw us a party on New Year's Eve! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and we loved the curtains around the beds. The location was perfect, with lots of bars and restaurants around. we highly recommend this hostel for a fun and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at City Hostel for my three-day adventure in Vietnam. The staff was incredibly helpful during my stay, especially when I was recovering from an injury. The bed was comfortable, with ample space and privacy thanks to the curtains and partition. The hostel even provided a towel and compensated me with a free night for the construction noise. I am truly grateful for their assistance and making my experience 100x better.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

City Hostel made my Vietnam adventure 100x better! the location was excellent, close to everything - the bridge, restaurants, bars, and shopping. the staff were always friendly and helpful, making me feel like they were my friends. the laundry service was quick and cheap. the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and it was quiet at night. I loved hanging out and chilling in the hostel's communal area, especially the lovely garden and open space. City Hostel Da Nang was a memorable experience that I'm grateful for!
All good! 😊.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the convenient location of the hostel. It was just a short walk away from the bustling food places and lively atmosphere. the hostel's proximity to the river made for a beautiful and relaxing evening stroll. Another advantage that I enjoyed was the friendly and accommodating staff. They were always there to assist me with any questions or concerns I had, making me feel welcomed and taken care of.
One downside I experienced during my stay was the noise from nearby construction. It was quite noisy early in the morning, which made it challenging to catch up on some much-needed rest.

There was no hot water in the bathroom, so I had to take cold showers during my stay. Additionally, the breakfast provided was very simple.

The location was great, within walking distance to the river and a variety of restaurants and bars. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist me during my stay.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with excellent local recommendations. The beds were extremely comfortable and private, thanks to the curtains around each bunk. The shower facilities were clean and well-maintained.
There was only one hot shower available, which could be inconvenient during peak times. the doors were locked at 11 pm, making it slightly uncomfortable to come back late and disturb the staff.

We had a fabulous stay at the hostel with a fantastic breakfast included. All the staff were fluent in English, making communication easy. We particularly enjoyed our conversations with Sarah at the reception. the beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep. the facilities were well-equipped, and we appreciated the separate rooms and baths, which meant we didn't have to worry about keeping quiet. The location was excellent for exploring the local food scene, and the decor of the room brought back memories of Vietnam in the 1980s. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent, with affordable rates and a spacious, clean room that had a super comfy bed. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk from the river and surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and local food stores. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast experience could be improved by adding some basic items like instant coffee, butter, jam, and bread. This would require minimal planning and provide a better breakfast option for guests.
